NURSES         In 2000, we introduced an intensive Healthcare training course made up of a one week theory class lecture, followed by a one week work experience placement at a Nursing Home. The one week class lecture is from 2:30 - 5:00p.m, while the work placement is from 9a.m – 4p.m monday - friday. At the end of this course, the student is issued a Healthcare Assistant/Auxillary Nursing Certificate. The training course tutor has a Healthcare Training Certificate. Some of the HealthCare Assistants who have completed this course have either gone on to study Nursing in the university or Colleges, where they specialize in Adult Nursing, Care of the Elderly, Mental Health, Paediatric or Midwifery. We also organize regular training courses for our workers so that their nursing skills are updated.
